Hope Sweet Hope

For the month of July Redeemed will be donating three percent of it's sales to The Hope Lodge in Lexington, KY. There's a Hope Lodge in almost every major city but, I chose Lexington because its the closest location to where I live and I know several people that have stayed at that particular one. The Hope Lodge provides free, safe, comfortable, and convenient lodging for cancer patients and their families. When my Dad was receiving treatment for his brain cancer at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN we almost stayed at The Hope Lodge. When we toured the facility everyone was so friendly and helpful. The place was clean and there were two large kitchens and several living room areas. Although, we ended up not staying there for his treatment I thought it was such a great service that they were providing. The emotional and physical trial that comes with cancer is more than enough for any person or family to handle and not having to worry about paying for a hotel room during treatment is such a blessing to patients and their families.
